3 G1000 Control & Operation
All control and operation of G1000 equipment as normally used in flight occurs through the PFD, MFD
and GMA 1347 audio panel. Figure 3-1 identifies GDU 1040 buttons. Figure 3-3 identifies various
GMA 1347 buttons.

3.1.1 AFCS Controls
The dedicated AFCS controls located on the GDU 1042 and 1044 are discussed in detail in the G1000
