8. On the GMA, press TEL button.
9. On the MFD, press the DIAL softkey.
10. On the MFD, enter the test phone number in the ENTER PHONE NUMBER field using the FMS
knobs or softkeys on the lower bezel.
11. On the MFD, press the ENT key to accept the phone number.
12. On the MFD, press the ENT key to initiate the dialing sequence.
13. When call is complete, on the MFD, press the HANGUP softkey on the AUX – TELEPHONE
page to end the call.
7.10 GSR 56
Original GSR 56 is Reinstalled
There are no software or configuration files loaded to the GSR 56. Continue to Section 7.10.1
New, Repaired or Exchange GSR 56 is Installed
If a new, repaired, or exchanged GSR 56 is installed, no software or configuration files are loaded to the
GSR 56. Continue to Section 7.10.1. As well the GFDS subscription must be reactivated. See Section
3.5.14.
