4.6.4 5 Gallon Calibration
1. Fill the affected fuel tank with 5 ± 0.1 gallons (30.0 ±0.05 pounds) usable fuel.
2. Allow the fuel probe(s) to stabilize at least 2 minutes before continuing.
3. With the desired tank selected, highlight the ACTUAL FUEL QUANTITY field and enter
5.00 Gallons.
4. Press the ENT key. The cursor automatically selects the CALIBRATE? option.
5. Press the ENT key again to calibrate the 5 gallon point.
6. Verify the 5.00 gallon point appears in the CALIBRATION TABLE.
7. Verify that the CALIBRATED TOTAL value indicates 5.00 GL.

8. On the MFD, verify the fuel quantity indicator correctly points to ‘5’.
9. Before proceeding verify that the cursor is deactivated on the Fuel Tank Calibration page. If
necessary depress the FMS knob to deactivate the cursor.
